Yamato Corporation, which manufactures Cajutta, is not a home appliance manufacturer. It is a manufacturing company founded in 1964.
Our company's main business is manufacturing metal and plastic parts, such as screws and gears, which require precise and reliable technology.
A chemical reaction occurred between reliable technology backed by history and fun ideas, and in collaboration with the Suwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and companies and universities in the Suwa area, a juicer with a completely new concept that had never been seen before was completed.
Suwa's technology, ideas, and teamwork bring smiles to people's faces all over the world.
"Is there an easier way to juice grapefruit?"
The story began with a random idea at a bar.
It's not interesting to just squeeze the juice out. Why not just squeeze the juice from the fruit and make it into a "vessel" so that you can drink it as is? Once you start thinking about it, the ideas just keep expanding.
The answer they found, with the cooperation of local businesses and the chamber of commerce in the Suwa region, university professors, designers, and other engineers, was "a machine with three titanium alloy blades that spread out in an oval shape inside the fruit, crushing the flesh and turning it into juice."
But making that happen was difficult.
"Let's give it a try somehow." The tradition of precision manufacturing that is rooted in Suwa is to never say "it can't be done" and to always try.

What material is it made of? What is its size? What is its rotation speed? It is a process of trial and error and an accumulation of improvements. We pay close attention to a few millimeters or microns. We use our reliable skills to give it shape.
This is the very essence of Japanese manufacturing.
The prototype was finally completed, and the grapefruit juice that was actually squeezed tasted like this. "This is made in SWA!"
About three years have passed since the project began.
